Whistler 2007

Wow. We just got back from a fun-filled weekend in British Columbia, Canada at Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Resort. Steff spent the week relaxing, probably too much, while Matt was skiing with some of his buddies. For one of the days, we all bundled up and headed out to the tubing park. It was great.... carved lanes, conveyor belt to take us to the top of the hill, etc.

We all had a good time, and there were relatively few injuries. Here are a few pics to serve as proof:

Lake Powell Rules

Hey All,

We wanted to share in some of the fun of our latest excursion. We received an invite from the Shelleys to accompany them to Lake Powell. We had a ball.

It all got off to a rather McGhie-esque rocky start...



... but after the rains subsided, we headed out to find our beach. We found the perfect setup and proceeded to have a rip roaring time.

Slackers

Anyone who knows us, knows we are slackers. We are not writers, we're readers. We take the easy road.

Anywho, as an overall update, the McGhie family is doing good. We just finished up putting grass in our yard. Once the fence gets up, we'll be chilling until next year.

From here, I'll let Steff take the reins and keep everyone current.

Alaska Trip for Matt

Matt got an early B-day present and got to go on a business trip to Alaska. While there, he went salmon fishing for the first time ever. It was a dream of his to do, and he enjoyed every minute of it. He even had the rare pleasure of having a bear approach the river right across from him. Once he got his line in, he was able to chase the bear up river and get some snapshots. It was a smaller bear, but exciting still.
