So, one of my good friends from waaaaay back was in town from San Fran and came to visit. We had a great time chatting, catching up, watching our kids play together, etc. It was awesome to visit, though a little strange to have kids playing together. It makes me feel so grown up...
During the visit I was reminded of the summer between my junior and senior of high school when a friend and I went to Albequerque to visit her. The first morning we were there, we sat up in our room until about 11:45 in the morning because we were too scared of her dad to come down the stairs.
Anyways, it was fun to see them. We were glad to have them stop by.
Also, let this be a lesson to all the other long lost friends: if you come to visit us, you just may make the blog... and that's what its all about.

It's always fun to visit with friends you haven't seen for a long time. By the way, I love your picture display behind you in the picture.
Aah--Brooke and Matty together again. Reading about being afraid of Ron gave me a good affirmation. I keep telling these Roberts that Ron could be intimidating if you didn't know him--they just don't get it. And, thinking of you and Lance reminded of that one night when the four of us ended up hooky-bobbing (is that even what it is called?) behind Brooke's car at about 4:00 AM during a huge snow storm on the road right by my house. Good times, lack of judgment--the memories :)
yeah!!! that was sooo good to see you! your family is so cute and awesome. hopefully we get a re-reunion before you guys get eaten by sharks...well, before matt gets eaten by sharks.
oh, and sara--i get it! there is a (mythical!) legendary story within dave's group of friends about one of our friends, gian, who came through our reception line and met my mom and said, "I'm Gian [pronounced Jan], too!" and that my dad scowled and growled at him. totally cracks me up. and matt and steph you guys are all so photogenic and winston and charlie look adorable in the picture. i laugh every time i look at my cave woman stance and cambria's face--cracks me up!
we had a great time; thanks again for having us!
